Although the tiniest of the litter, Darnell has the most energy and personality.
He loves to be pet, but like his mom, does not like to be picked up, unless he comes to you first. He is very playful with his siblings. If they leave him out, he makes his presence known by meowing/squeaking and then launching himself into the middle of their game, which usually involves a lot of rolling around.
He is the only one who still follows mama kitty around and loves to play with her tail. When tired, he often chooses to nap inside my guitar case or behind my couch, so in this way he is more independent than his siblings who usually sleep together in a pile. Darnell is very curious and has gotten into every nook possible in my place, but he is respectful in his own kitty way, by not chewing or scratching anything. He was the first to be fully litter trained, so he is the littlest but most grown up of the group:)
