Samanta and her brother Elvar were on their way to a certain death as they were about to be drowned.
A kind woman stepped in and took the box away from the man who was about to commit the unthinkable and contacted Abbey Cats.
The kittens were reunited with their mom and placed in one of our loving foster homes
Samanta is the smallest of her siblings.
While she enjoys rolling around with them on occasion, you will often find her snuggled on your lap, contentedly watching as the others play around her.
Like Elvar, Samanta loves human attention.
Playing with the other kittens is sometimes a bit overwhelming for Samanta, but a human hand is a well suited opponent!
Her favourite activity, besides curling up next to a warm body, is chasing after and trying to catch a feather toy.
She may be small, but she sure can jump!!
Samantha and Elvar are two incredibly playful kittens.
They can spend hours chasing each other around until they're completely worn out.
After that they like to curl up together (and preferably on someone's lap!) to take a nap.
Elvar is the bigger of the two, and craves human attention.
He is always wanting to be picked up and loves getting kisses.
He's not the brightest cat, but watching him jump around (and fall more times than not) is very entertaining!
Samanta is more graceful than her brother.
She has a small, striking face, and in a few months will grow into a beautiful cat.
She was the smallest of her litter, and because of this slight disadvantage she learned to be quite scrappy when eating and playing.
While it is against Abbey Cat policy to adopt a single kitten under the age of 6 months to a home without a kitten of similar age for company, Samanata would be fine with a young adult cat under the age of two.
