Shawnee and her siblings Duncan and Raine were rescued from a high volume shelter up north where they have problems finding appropriate adopters for cats in that area.
She’s a sweet, sleek black beauty who loves everyone, loves being petted and readily gives kisses and hugs to her foster mom.
Shawnee likes to talk to her human while she’s making dinner, and loves to be in her lap when she’s reading or crocheting.
Shawnee brings her sister Raine out of her shell (they love to play and sleep together) and for this reason, both girls will need to be adopted with each other.
Shawnee (and Raine) will do best in a quiet home (no dogs or small children) with a family who has the patience to allow Raine to blossom into a loving companion in her own time and on her own terms.
