Abby

Abby came to us from a Shelter environment where she had been admitted in poor condition as a stray in the community.

We don't know her story or how she came to be lost but we are glad she found refuge.

Like most Siamese (and indeed most cats) she did not do well in a shelter environment and the staff at the Shelter contacted us and asked us to admit her to our program.

It is very early days but already Abby likes to have a special corner to take long naps. When she wakes up with a good stretch, then she explores the house and will be happy to play with a toy. She may be a little shy with strangers in a new environment (they are better observed from under the couch), yet she has the potential to warm up to her person and remember her kitten days! Noises and sudden movements may be a bit startling, but with time she can definitely trust her new family.

Abby is currently being fostered in a single person apartment.

Abby would do well in a household with teenaged children or a single person or couple in a quiet household. She would not do well in a home with small children or in a high activity home. Abby does not like other animals and will need to be an only.

Preference will be given to adopters with previous Siamese or exotic experience.
