Bonita has been working hard recently being a mom to a litter of 5 adorable kittens.
Before she came to us pregnant she had had a previous litter as well as a couple of kittens who came in with her.
All her kittens have now been adopted, and it's time for her to find a home of her own where she just gets to be loved.
The longer Bonita has been in her foster home, the sweeter she has become.
At first, she was quite scared and hid in small spaces, but after a few days, she started coming out to greet her foster family.
In the early days before giving birth, Bonita had a roommate (another foster cat in the house) and was completely fine with that company.
As the kittens have gotten older, Bonita tends to sit and watch them play, or she climbs onto the windowsill and likes to watch out in the backyard.
She does have moments of playfulness and we are seeing them more and more.
Bonita is always at the door to greet humans who come into the room, but she never tries to run out.
She is so happy to see her foster humans and rubs up against them.
Bonita loves to be petted and is getting more and more used to being held.
We think that Bonita will do well in any home that will give her the love and attention that she deserves.
She is not particularly bothered by loud noises.
Bonita adjusted well to being with a new cat for a number of weeks so she will likely do well with another cat, but she would also be happy being a lone cat in a household as long as she has lots of human attention.
