Bonnie is a sweet and quiet 6 year old female that came from a shelter environment where there was minimal human contact. Her eye tooth was knocked out during a traumatic vet experience, under the care of her previous caretakers. She is now taking her time to warm up to her new foster parents but checks on them every night when she thinks they are sleeping!
She likes to explore but is still getting comfortable in her foster home.
Bonnie's foster parents know once she warms up she will be a very sweet and loving girl. Her previous caregivers described her as very friendly.
The recent incident at the vet's office has made her withdraw but we have full confidence that she will soon blossom back into the loving girl we know her to be.
Bonnie loves Tuna juice and wet food mixed with water!
After an examination with one of our vets to check on the damaged tooth it was found that she had dental disease meaning she will require extensive extractions. She must have been in a great deal of pain but displayed affection and showed no sign of aggression.
This girl deserves a happy ending with a family or single person who will care for her for the rest of her life.
Bonnie would be best in a quiet home. She is a shy girl and would be happiest where there are no dogs or young children.
