Brix

Brix was surrendered to a shelter in North Bay, Ontario by her previous owner who could no longer afford to take care of her.
She’s currently being fostered by a young couple in a one-bedroom apartment.

Brix is a beautiful cat with medium fur and glowing green eyes who has warmed up to her humans very quickly.
Brix loves getting pets and her favourite petting place is under her chin and when she’s feeling especially cuddly, she’ll turn over for a belly rub.

She has the softest fur, which she does a great job of grooming!
Brix likes to have her space and needs a soft & quiet place to curl up away from noise, light, and people for her afternoon and evening naps.
She can sometimes become overwhelmed and might need some time to warm up to her humans again.

Every now and then she loves to hunt her feathery toys and zoom around her foster home hopping, jumping, and skipping (mostly in the mornings and late evenings).
She’s a very curious cat and loves to explore her surroundings, sometimes getting herself into tricky situations that she may need assistance getting out of.
Brix will be a wonderful companion cat who is very affectionate and will grow to love her family with some time and patience.

Brix would like a quiet home where she can safely lounge, play, and explore, all the while having loving and respectful humans around to cuddle and encourage her to live her best life.
She needs to be the centre of attention and would likely do best as a solo pet.

She would do best in a home with no children or with older children since she can be startled and uncomfortable around too much noise and activity.

She'll thrive with love and affection from her humans and in turn, will provide immense joy to her adoptive family.
