Church or Churchie as his foster parents call him, came to Abbey Cats through no fault of his own.
He was a loyal companion until his owner passed on earlier this year.

Church is currently in a foster home which is fairly quiet with two adults and not a lot of visitors.
He’s very comfortable around those he knows but tends to hide when company comes over.

Church has been an only cat for most of his life so we’re not sure if he would enjoy the company of another cat.

Church would be a constant companion to you, he will greet you when you wake up and most definitely when you come home from being away.
He’ll be sure to let you know all of what you missed through his very cute meows.

He has a very cute habit of patting you on the arm with his paw when he needs something.
Usually some treats!
He’s loves to sit on your lap and yes, he will fall asleep there too!

Church loves to chase dry food for some play time and eats a vet approved wet food diet due to previous health conditions.

He likes the feather wand as well and is an avid hunter!
He has some extra pounds but he’s very agile.

He loves his cat tree and you will most likely find him sunning during his daily naps in the top perch of the tree.

Church is looking for a forever home with that special connection.
He has lots of love to give and would make a wonderful companion or addition to a family with older children.
