Columbine

Columbine came to Abbey Cats with her beautiful litter of 6 kittens and her best friend and co-parent, Pierre.
She arrived as a vigilant mom, always watching over the kittens and sitting with Pierre on standby.

She has been a sweet mom to the kittens, giving them lots of love and attention, and is now ready to find her forever home with Pierre.

At first she was nervous and would hiss at her foster mom, but she has come a long way!
Now she likes to be picked up like a baby for short cuddles, having treats served to her in your hand, and napping with her foster mom.
She even licks your hands when she;s being petted.
She's really become a lot more social and trusting, and we are sure will only become more of a cuddle bug over time.

Columbine is a brave, inquisitive cat, who loves to explore her surroundings.
When she was with her kittens and now with Pierre too, she is always the first one to check out a new room or go see what a noise is.
She loves looking out the windows at birds or squirrels, and taking cat naps in a sunny spot or on a bed with Pierre.

She can also be found much of the day playing with foam balls, batting them down the stairs and chasing after them, only to retrieve the ball and start over again at the top of the staircase.
Often during playtime, Pierre and Columbine chase each other around the house and wrestle on a soft surface.
Columbine is a very vocal girl.
She will make sure you know when its meal time and play time in particular, or meow while she's looking around the house to see where everyone is hanging out.

Columbine would like to be adopted with Pierre.
They would do best in a household that is patient and has time to teach them to be keep opening up to humans.
They would do best in a calm household.
