This magnificent boy was picked up as a stray and sent to a shelter.
Amazingly, no one claimed him, and he was thoroughly tested and checked to ensure that he is healthy.
The shelter staff loved his laid-back friendly nature and praised him highly.
He was never claimed and the adoption program in the Shelter has all but disappeared because of Covid so this lovely guy was languishing in a shelter with little prospect of finding his permanent people.
When he arrived in his Abbey Cat foster home he was eager to escape from his carrier and inspect his new surroundings.
When he found a comfy cat bed, he calmly settled in for a nap.
Fabio's currently with a much younger cat previously unknown to him, but doesn't seem bothered by her, even when she growls at him!
He loves to have his thick fur brushed, and he loves his food!
He made friendly overtures to his new foster mother before he even left the carrier as he was rubbing against her hand as she was opening the door.
Fabio is a calm and extremely affectionate boy who wants nothing more than to be with people who will love him, brush him and feed him!
He would be fine in a home where his people would be home with him a great deal of the time although he is very accepting of other cats and other animals general, he may not join in games. but will certainly not show any aggression.
Fabio will enjoy a quiet home where he can get lots of human companionship and attention.
He may be happy on his own if he gets a lot of love, but would be happy to share his home with another accepting and respectful cat .
