Garland is a beautiful DMH Tortie who was found on the streets and brought to Abbey Cats by the kind people who found her. She's a shy girl who is quick to trust and love. She adapted to her foster home in only a couple of days and loves to spend her time chasing her toys or napping as close as possible to her foster parent. She is not a lap cat, nor does she enjoy being held, but she absolutely adores head scratches. She has a quiet voice, but if you listen, she has an amazing array of chirps and purrs to communicate just how much she loves you. Like a typical Tortie, she seems to have an abundance of sass, helped along by her expressive eyebrows that allow her to easily show her disdain for any lack of attention, or sadness when she loses her favourite toy under the couch.
Garland will do well in a home with someone else who is there to continuously shower her with the attention she is so desperate for. She seems like she could do well with another cat, but was in a quiet foster home with no other pets.
