Beautiful, graceful Gertrude arrived in an Abbey Cats foster home after being transferred from a shelter North of the city.
She arrived with another cat, Triscuit, and she accepted this new situation very well.
She and Triscuit happily chase each other around the house and even share their toys.
She has started to climb onto her foster Mum's lap and has discovered the joy of being brushed -- she rolls over to make every inch available!
Gertrude will be happy in most homes but will need another cat for company (Triscuit would be ideal, unless there is another young cat in the home.)
She probably would not do well with small children.
Gertrude is self-confident and assertive. There is nothing shy here.
A fairly calm foster home would be very good for her.
Gertrude needs to be adopted with a cat in the program (ideally Triscuit) or have another cat at home
