Glenn & Angus

Glenn came to Abbey Cats as a kitten with his buddy Angus just over a year ago and they were adopted shortly afterwards.

Unfortunately, a medical emergency in his adoptive human family meant that they were returned to the program.

Angus is very, very active, as in “how can I find something to get into”.
He would probably get bored in a too quiet household.

Glenn is very quiet.  It took him a week to come out from under the bed after they’d been transferred to another foster home.
Angus, on the other hand, took only a day to come out and explore the new surroundings.
The carrier doors were left open and their foster mom would often find the boys taking a rest the carriers.

Angus will join his foster mom on the bed while she is reading at night.
Angus and Glenn are used to sleeping together in the same area so Angus does not spend the night on the bed.
If their human starts playing with one cat the other cat will join in.
Since they are both 1 1/2 years old, they still need a lot of playtime.
Glenn needs the exercise and Angus just can't do without it.
They are both particularly fond of a peacock feather.

Angus is quite the Explorer and Investigator.
Glenn is quite shy/reserved and low-energy.
They both love being stroked and flop themselves in front of their foster mom to get attention.
Watch your step caregivers!

Glenn often comes looking for pets and caresses.
Neither Angus nor Glenn is a good jumper, Glenn needs a lift to get up on a lap and Angus needs help getting to higher spots.

Angus loves getting into the bathroom sink and curling up in it as well as jumping in the bathtub after foster mom’s taken a shower.
They both love empty cardboard boxes.  (What cat doesn’t, right?)

Angus will nip if overly excited (over petted/stroked).
Glenn will sit quite comfortably on a lap for a short time and then descend in a gentlemanly fashion.

They get along well and would make an excellent pair.

Angus and Glenn need to be adopted together. Glenn (who is timider) greatly depends on his buddy Angus.

Glen looks out for Angus.
When he gets stuck somewhere he gets his foster mom's attention to help him out with his little meows.
