Like his namesake, Hendrix is the real deal. He’s a 9 year old siamese cross who is affectionate, good mannered, smart and handsome. Through no fault of his own, Hendrix is FIV positive. His previous owners put him outside to roam, where he was subject to the aggression of other cats which resulted in a deep bite from another cat that transmitted the FIV virus ( It poses no danger to humans and cannot be transmitted in cat kisses or water bowls). Like a true rock n’ roller, handsome Hendrix is missing some teeth. He’s sweet and accommodating, and is likely to let his new family and his veterinarian work with him on his dental hygiene. He is healthy now, and will likely stay so for a long time. Hendrix is well treated in the shelter where he is currently living but a shelter is no place for a Siamese fallen on hard times. He needs a family, someone to belong to. I can almost hear him singing, as his Stratocaster wails, “there must be some kind of way outta here”. Are you the one to take Hendrix home?
