Why go after diamonds, when you can have Jade?
Jade is around 2 years old. She came to AbbeyCats from a local shelter and is now staying in a foster home.
Jade is as precious and beautiful as her namesake. She could easily win Canada's Next Top Meowdel with her big green eyes, and spotted tan fur.
Although petite in size, Jade has an enormous apetite, and personality to match! She loves to chat to her foster mom in the morning to discuss food, she even excitedly calls for pets.
Food and pets are her two favourite things. Jade loves pets so much that she will purr continuously while cuddling, it is the cutest thing,
Jade is incredibly gentle and does not exhibit any biting, swatting, or hissing. Despite her love for cuddling and pets, Jade does not like to be picked up.
She will, however, come and curl up on your lap, make biscuits on your belly, and snooze right next to you on the sofa.
She also loves to be close to her human, watching them cook and clean, and everything in between! Jade currently prefers sleeping in the closet to sleeping with her foster mom.
It is still early on in Jade's foster journey and her mom believes she will likely open up to co-sleeping over time.
Jade is quite independent and keeps herself entertained with her toys, she loves catnip, her cardboard scratching board, and things she can roll around.
Jade has so much love to give and has very quickly bonded to her foster mom.
She is affectionate and attaches easily, so she needs to go to a home where her humans will be around a good amount of the time. Jade must be the only cat. It is not known how she does with children or dogs.
Her foster mom believes Jade may be good with older children who can respect her alone time needs and dislike of being picked up.
Home must be relatively quiet, and humans should have a stable schedule that allows them to spend a lot of time at home. Cat toys and scratchers are needed.
If you are in search of the most precious gem -- , sassy, chatty little Jade is perfect for you.
