Alexander was surrendered to the program due to allergy issues. He was a little timid for a few hours, but it seems if he spends long enough around you, he will definitely get comfortable and adjust. He is very curious, playful and is quite large for his age! He has a habit of trying to open doors as he can easily stretch up and reach the door knob.
He loves his scratching post and playing with little toy balls with bells inside. He gives kisses some of the time but he nips a bit at your hands if you make sudden movements. It is a good idea to let him come to you and let you touch him as he pleases, at least at the beginning until trust is established. He is a bit of a night owl and gets a bit restless during that time - he has his own agenda at night! He needs a lot of play time in the day to siphon off his energy. He likes heights and activity so he would enjoy climbing frames and lots of places to run and jump.
Alexander is a beautiful cat with a personality. He is truly one of kind, with the face and sprint of a panther (literally). Alexander is currently in a foster home with a family of adults and one other cat. He would enjoy a loving family who could help him blossom into the loving and vibrant creature he is. Older children and teenagers would be most welcome with him. He would be happy as an only cat as long as his humans spend a lot of time with him.
Alexander needs a home where he will get a lot of attention
