Abbey Cats was contacted by another rescue group located north of the city about five tiny kittens who were found outside.
The boys  were taken in to safety  where there are many dangerous elements including coyotes.
Their mother was later captured and reunited with her babies

Barbican is the runt of the litter but that doesn't slow him down.
He is the most outgoing and loves to explore new things.

A little more shy than his foster brother Manoj he is coming out of his shell.
He loves to play and is getting more and more affectionate with people.
He's also the most acrobatic of this family group with tricks like walking along the side of the bed as if it were the top.

A handsome boy with dark markings, Barbican is slow to warm to people but very friendly when he does.
He's happy to be petted or just to curl up on you.
Barbican loves his food, a little too much, and tries to hog it!
He plays great with all his siblings.
Barbican's been spending more time with Marli lately.
In person Barbican can be distinguished from his brother, Manoj by his darker colouring and thicker striping... in pictures this is not always as clear.

Barbican is probably the most social out of all the kittens.
He will sit in his foster mom's  lap and purr and cuddle with her.
He gets along well with all other cats and isn't as dominant as Manoj when it comes to toys - He will  will allow the other cats to take their turn first

Barbican is in the same foster home as Marli and  Manoj

All three kittens love playing non-stop, especially with any toys that are on a stick.
Manoj will literally try to pull at it with his teeth and run away with it.
They are very sweet and all begin to purr instantly when you pet any of them.
Their foster mom has never seen any kittens purr so much.
They also all love to sleep and cuddle together in a furry kitten puddle in various places around the house.

While it is against Abbey Cat policy to  adopt a single kitten under the age of 6 months to a home without a kitten of similar age for company, Barbican would be fine with a young adult cat under the age of two.

Toys are great... toy wrappers are better!
