Bettina and her brother Hari had been with an old lady who had had them since they were very young kittens.
When she could no longer take care of them, her family handed them in to a Shelter where they snuggled together for comfort in the cage that they were put in.
Bettina was a little nervous when she arrived in her foster home, because she had travelled between shelters for a couple of weeks, and she hid behind the bed for a day.
After a meal and a sleep, she started to venture out and watched everything that happened with interest.
When she realized that skritches and petting were part of her new life, however, she immediately started to purr and moved over to her foster Mum's lap, even giving her hand a lick or two to encourage more affection!
She seems to be quite calm and confident, and will do well with any family!
Bettina will be spayed before she’s adopted. 12
Bettina MUST be adopted with her brother Hari.
