Black Panther

This feisty little kitten was named for a superhero.
We’re not sure if we saw something in his mischievous blue eyes, or it he just grew to fit his name.
Black Panther of Marvel fame has unusual strength, speed, stamina, agility, reflexes, endurance and intellect, and our Black Panther has all of that!

Without the African jungle and a line up of super villains to showcase his talents, this Black Panther settles for zooming through the house, stalking the toy wand, chasing down his crinkly ball, wrestling his litter mates, and falling contentedly into a lap to sleep it all off.

The Marvel story tells of the heart-shaped herb that gave Black Panther his mystical abilities.
Our Black Panther didn’t have that herb; he fuels his fun with his strong little heart.
The vet says he has a heart murmur.
The thing is, you can’t tell with babies if a heart murmur is going to mean a heart problem and the tests to find out are costly and invasive.
Doctors don’t do tests on healthy patients and our Black Panther is a healthy little superhero.
Maybe the murmur will go away - most do. But he’s too young to know yet.

Black Panther is currently being fostered with his siblings Black BeautyBlack Pearl, and litter mate Asprey.

Black Panther would like be adopted together with his sibling, Black Pearl.

Please bear in mind that it is against Abbey Cat policy to adopt a single kitten under the age of 6 months to a home without a kitten of similar age for company.
