Chanelle is one of the many cats and kittens we rescued recently from a severe hoarding situation in Toronto.
When she first arrived in her foster home, she was very timid and found an out of the way place to hide. It didn't take her long before she realized she was in a safe, loving environment and had lots of room to move around freely instead of being cramped in a tiny space full of other cats. She was finally free to be a kitten and was amazed by all the food, clean litter box and so many toys she didn't know which one to play with first.
Since then she has blossomed into a playful, active and affectionate kitten who loves to curl up on her foster mum's lap and be petted. She still tends to be a bit shy when meeting new people.
She is currently in a foster home with one adult and another cat. Chanelle would do best in a home without any young children or dogs. She's very social and needs to be adopted into a home that has another kitten of similar age to help her burn off some of her energy.
This cat needs to be adopted with a cat in the program or have another cat at home.
