Chapin and his brothers/sisters were found huddled by the side of a rural road (in freezing temperatures).
Chapin is a timid little soul who needs the company of another kitten to show him he is safe. Once he starts to play he seems to forget his hesitancy and tumbles and chases with the best of them! He is a bit shy at first but he quickly overcame this and now wants just as many snuggles as the other kittens - he will run over when he hears the others purring to make sure he is not missing out on love. He is very gentle and only vocal when he finds himself alone. Once he is comfortable, he is a purring machine who loves belly & chest rubs.
Chapin needs a kitten friend to make him feel safe and a forever home that will let him adjust and feel safe to be his adorable little self. He would do best with one of his brothers: Springsteen or Floyd.
This cat needs to be adopted with a sibling or have another cat at home.
Please bear in mind that it is against Abbey Cat policy to adopt a single kitten under the age of 6 months to a home without a kitten of similar age for company.
