Demelza was adopted but was returned to the program because the other cat in the home was terrorizing her.

She is now back in foster care and is proving just how resilient she is. Young, sweet Demelza is what you would call a model cat. She’s adorable, very lady-like and adaptable. She has qualities for all kinds of cat owners (unless you prefer a cat that ignores you that is)! Within half an hour of settling into her foster home, she climbed onto her foster parent’s lap. She’s not a lap cat, but more of an everywhere cat because she enjoys closing that distance to scent and rub you with her cute pink nose.

She’s gentle when she plays, releases prey toys and is immediately ready for the next chase. Her round, gorgeous gold eyes speak volumes, and when you engage in a staring contest with this little kitty, you will likely lose and decide to lean in and give her kisses instead. Her affection is so cathartic, and her presence alone can be therapeutic for some.

One thing for sure is that this girl will love you to bits, so she deserves a forever home that will do the same to her and more. Best of all, she lets you cut her nails with just some wiggle but zero fuss! What a blessing. She would probably be ok as an only cat as long as someone was home a lot to give her attention.

**PLEASE NOTE:  Demelza would not do well in a home with children under ten years of age**
