Farthing was brought to Abbey Cats after she had been found outside homeless with four other kittens.
While we do not know how she ended up in that unfortunate circumstance, one thing is for sure - it hasn't made her love humans any less!
Farthing is a beautiful calico girl with bright and alert eyes, and she ADORES attention!
She loves to be held and perches her front paws on your shoulder to hold her like a baby. When you put her down, she tries to get in your lap.
Whenever she's receiving pets or cuddles, she purrs to show she is happy.
She's just an absolute sweet and loving little cat, though her tendency to lick people while she's being cuddled makes her almost seem more like a lap dog.
If she's getting cuddles or pets and there is a hand or arm or even shoulder near her face, it's just going to happen.
Farthing is also a very confident girl. Upon arriving to her foster, she immediately marched out of her carrier, ready to explore the house and ask for the attention she so deserves.
Farthing is currently in a foster home with Sterling and Sovereign, two of the kittens she was found with. While we do not believe them necessarily to be siblings, they are definitely friends and she does enjoy their company.
Farthing is an easy going and social girl who would be happy to be a companion to a different cat as well.
She would definitely like to be adopted with another kitten, preferably Sovereign whom gets along with her the best.
Please bear in mind that it is against Abbey Cat policy to adopt a single kitten under the age of 6 months to a home without a kitten of similar age for company.
