Hortense was found after she'd been abandoned by her previous owners when they moved out. The person who found her contacted Abbey Cats in the hopes that we could help find Hortense a forever home.

Shortly after moving to her foster home Hortense gave birth to two little kittens... Hildy and Hadleigh, and they were joined by Declan who had been found orphaned.

Hortense is a sweet little girl and barely makes a peep. When she wants attention, she does make a little yelping sound, or a meow with no sound (it’s hard to explain) and it’s more cute than annoying.

She purrs A LOT - even from far away when you’re not touching her. Hortense likes to approach you as opposed to you approaching her.

Now that Hortense's kittens are available for adoption, it's her turn to find a forever family.

She will be spayed prior to being adopted out.
