Abbey Cats was contacted by another rescue group located north of the city about a TNR cat.
They had rescued a pregnant cat from the cold weather and kept her inside for the duration of her pregnancy.
Marli and her siblings (who have now all been adopted) were born inside and have remained inside ever since.
Marli is a sweet little girl who runs right over to her foster parents when she hears the door opening.
When she's in the mood to be petted, Marli purrs endlessly.
She's also getting way less shy than she was before - she has built up much more confidence, and her foster sister Maidie and her are often coming to hang out with their foster parents on the bed or couch.
She is coming out of her shell more though and very interested in all types of toys.
She's super playful with all the other cats, but is more of a follower than a leader.
Marli will push her head into the resident cat Earl's face to get groomed, and she likes it when she's petted while being groomed by another cat.
She used to run away from her fosters sometimes but she does this less and less now.
Marli's foster mom says "has the most glossy and softest coat out of any cat I've ever seen"
Marli loves her foster sister Maidie - they nap and groom together all the time.
While it is against Abbey Cat policy to adopt a single kitten under the age of 6 months to a home without a kitten of similar age for company, Marli would be fine with a young adult cat under the age of two.******
