Like her sister Viola, Merelda has been getting along with both the humans and resident cats of the house great.
She started out a bit shy and mostly cuddled with her sister in the closet, but she is much more confident now.
Her foster mom says  that she's a bit more confident than Viola right now, and seems to enjoy getting petted for longer periods of time than Viola.
She is very vocal in terms of purring, and purrs when you hold her and when you pet her.
She will jump on the bed now to be with her foster parents and wait for them to pet her.
Merelda loves chasing the laser pointer and will zoom around the condo after it.
She likes sleeping in boxes by the window and also in the cat bed, while her sister Viola likes to sleep in more out-of-sight places like the closet.
Both Merelda and Viola are awesome very sweet cats who seem easy to get along with, well adjusted and super adoptable

Viola is very dependent on her sister and they would very much like to be adopted together.
