Nala came to Abbey Cats as a surrender. She's a very clever, chatty and adventurous girl who enjoys exploring every nook and cranny of her foster home.
Her ideal day is spent playing with her foster sibling Hecuba, looking out the window for birds and batting her paws under running water in the sink or shower.
Confidence is synonymous with Nala's personality. She always wants to be part of the action and won't shy away from a new situation, but will assess carefully to make sure they're not dangerous.
When tuckered out from the day, Nala wants nothing more than to curl up on a cozy blanket or bed.
Once comfortable in a home, she is extremely friendly and affectionate towards humans.
She loves curling into her foster mom's lap and will cuddle up contently while purring.
Nala also adores having her silky coat stroked and will seek out her foster mom to ask for pets.
Before coming into Abbey Cat's care, Nala never had a positive experience with another cat; however, once she met Hecuba (another Abbey Cat's rescue), she couldn't get enough of having a friend.
They're as thick as thieves and constantly by each other's sides.
It would be best it Nala was adopted with Hecuba as they're very comfortable together.
The ideal home for Nala is one with an owner who can spend the needed time to train her.
As she's very smart and curious, she does need rules that are gently enforced to ensure she's not getting into any mischief.
Nala is also unsure of strange cats, so her being adopted with Hecuba is ideal.
She has been around dogs before and tends to ignore them; however, if they bother her, she responds negatively.
