Rhiannon

Rhiannon came to the Abbey Cat program with her 3 siblings and mother, Mertle.

She is the most social and outgoing of her litter and always has to be first to taste test their meals!
Her foster mom is convinced that she is actually a puppy in the body of a kitten.

Rhiannon is the definition of a cuddlebug.
She loves nothing more than curling up in her foster mom's lap for long, cozy naps.
But don’t let her love for snuggles fool you – she’s got energy to spare and a playful streak that’s second to none.

This little athlete could probably join the NBA with her impressive toy-throwing skills!
Whether it’s a crumpled paper ball or her favorite stuffed mouse, Rhiannon loves tossing her toys high into the air for a show.
It’s always a delightful surprise to catch her mid-game, with her toys soaring like tiny basketballs.

Rhiannon’s charm doesn’t stop there.
She has a quirky habit of bringing her toys to you in bed – sometimes as a gift, sometimes for a game, but always with love.
At bedtime, she’ll even cuddle up with her “toy of the day,” making her the most adorable companion you could ask for.

She’s a social butterfly who adores people and thrives on attention.
Rhiannon will make a fantastic companion for anyone looking for unconditional affection, constant entertainment, and a lap warmer for life.

She shares a special bond with her sister, Fae, and their mother, Mertle, who are also in the adoption program.
Rhiannon has been a wonderful support system for Fae, helping her come out of her shell with her playful and nurturing nature.
While we’d love for Rhiannon and Fae to find a forever home together, they can now be adopted separately, as Fae has blossomed into her own confident self.

Because of Rhiannon’s loving and social personality, it’s important that she goes to a home with another kitten or young cat.
She’s a natural “big sister” and will make her new sibling feel loved and safe while providing endless playtime and cuddles.

Her ideal home would be one where she has plenty of human interaction, a cozy lap to curl up on, and a feline friend to share her days with. Rhiannon is outgoing, adaptable, and endlessly affectionate – the perfect addition to a family that can match her playful and loving spirit.

If your home is missing a sweet kitten like Rhiannon, and you have room in your heart for a second furry friend, she’s ready to join your family!
Introductions to other animals in the house should be done slowly, but she likely would do well with another cat or dog already in the home.

Ideally, she would like to be adopted with Fae but can go separately as long as there is a kitten of similar age and temperament in the home.

Please bear in mind that it is against Abbey Cat policy to adopt a single kitten under the age of six months to a home without a kitten of similar age for company.
