Samanta and her brother Elvar were on their way to a certain death as they were about to be drowned.
A kind woman stepped in and took the box away from the man who was about to commit the unthinkable and contacted Abbey Cats.
The kittens were reunited with their mom and placed in one of our loving foster homes
Samanta is a beautiful, silky black cat.
Unlike her brother, she listens well and understands what is and isn't allowed.
She's not quite as affectionate as Elvar, but when she's in the mood or if it's cold at night she'll cuddle in close.
Samanta has great hunting instincts and loves playing "cat and mouse" with a hand under the bedsheet.
Watch out for your toes though, as she'll pounce on anything that moves!
She's very quiet and graceful, but can hold her own while play fighting with Elvar.
Samanta enjoys human company and will follow her foster mum around.
If you're in another room, you'll open the door to find her waiting patiently outside, sitting with all her paws delicately tucked underneath her.
Samanta and Elvar have never been separated, and should be adopted together.
In the picture of them together, Samanta is on the right.
You can identify her by her single white whisker.
While it is against Abbey Cat policy to adopt a single kitten under the age of 6 months to a home without a kitten of similar age for company, Samanata would be fine with a young adult cat under the age of two.
