Shapo and Assim came to Abbey Cats from an overcrowded northern shelter.
They were fostered into a family with a 10 year old.
They are two adorable siblings looking for a home together.
Shapo is a small black cat with a white emblem on her neck.
She loves to sleep in silly positions, she is totally relaxed in her foster home.
When they first arrived, they were getting over a mild cold, and they were very receptive to being bundled up for medications each morning.
Now they have recovered and are feeling great!
Shapo and her brother are SUPER sweet.
They love to cuddle with their foster family.
As soon as you sit down on the sofa you can expect to have a little visitor looking for pets… and if one of the siblings is getting attention, the other shows up immediately looking for their share of the love!
Both start purring immediately, and boy is it ever loud!
When they aren’t getting petted you can find them playing together.
They love to tear up and down the long hallway or play on their cat tree, but their absolute favourite toy is a multicolour fluffy wand toy with bells on the end.
Their foster family says they love it so much that they’ll be sending it to their new home.
Shapo has taken on a motherly role and takes every opportunity to lick and groom her brother when he is amenable to it.
They're at that age where they love chasing and rough housing with each other, so they definitely should be adopted together.
Shapo MUST be adopted with Assim.
Shapo has a spay appointment for September 24, 2021
Please bear in mind that it is against Abbey Cat policy to adopt a single kitten under the age of 6 months to a home without a kitten of similar age for company. Any kittens over 6 months may need the company of another young cat.
