Shimmer is one of three kittens born to Freesia, she came to Abbey Cats through a rescue organization in northern Ontario.

Shimmer is the teeniest little Polly Pocket runt baby.
She is so sweet, and spends every possible moment curled under foster mom's chin (in a non-annoying way).
She loves belly rubs and kisses and cuddles more than any kitten her foster mom has ever met.

Shimmer has some eccentric moves; like she walks around her food bowl 3-4 times before she starts eating.
Foster mom can't tell if she is just saying cat grace or is doing a wiccan ritual.
Shimmer is obscenely cute, and foster mom sometimes wonders if she might be a fennec fox rather than a kitten.

Shimmer was very skinny when she came to Abbey Cats, but she had been eating a lot, and is slowly catching up in size to her siblings.

Shimmer is looking for a low energy home with people who love sitting still and speaking calmly to each other.
Shimmer will play with her siblings, but that isn't her first choice.
She would much rather curl up with a warm human and a book.
She needs to be adopted with Silver, because neither of them are as interested in playing chomp tackle as their brothers and they match each other's energy well.
Shimmer is really chatty and wants to tell you all about her feelings, but from a prone position on your chest.

Shimmer's current foster home has 3 adults and 1 8 year old child.
She is very much inclined towards the adults, but would do well with calm children.
She had not yet met the family dogs, but would probably do fine with a lazy, low energy dog friend.
