Thornbury's stunning good looks are matched by a feisty and snuggly personality. He is still shy but welcomes snuggles and playtime once he feels safe. Thornbury was rescued with his brother Badjeros in Thornbury, Ontario where they were born outside to a feral mother. Thornbury has been with his foster family for one week and has made great strides. He is in a foster home with 5 people and 3 other foster cats, but has a quiet room to live in where life is predictable and safe.
Thornbury and Badjeros need to be adopted together to a family who will give them the time they need to feel safe and loved. An ideal family is mature and patient and understands 'shy kittens' need to be wooed with calm and consistent presence.
These brothers have come a long way since they arrived at their foster home. They love to play with toys, people and each other and are becoming expert snugglers. These two thrive with love and patience and are looking for a home that will welcome their antics and provide regular chin scratches.
Thornbury and Badjeros are turning out to be playful and cuddly. As they realize people are fun they are quickly coming out of their shells to chase bells, tackle stuffed birds and get their bellies rubbed. If the decibels of their purring is any measure, they are happy guys ready for forever pawrents to join in their games.
Thornbury and Badjeros should be adopted together. These brothers want you to know they are excellent housemates! Not only do they love each other and look forward to sharing that love with you, they are learning how to help with the laundry!
