Tina

Tina came to Abbey Cats on her own looking for a family to spend her life with furever. She was in a shelter north of Toronto for a few weeks of her kittenhood with no luck in being adopted, and we do not know the story of how she ended up there.

Tina is a beautiful kitten with Grey Tabby and White colouring, and a little bit of cream and beige around her face.

Since arriving at her foster home, Tina has immediately felt comfortable and made herself at home. She is just an amazing kitten companion. Tina loves love and spends the majority of her time happily purring. Food time? She's purring. Cuddle time? She's purring. Playing on her own? She's purring.

She even purrs when she's in trouble for climbing somewhere we are teaching her not to - when her foster mom tells her "No" and picks her up off the kitchen counter for example to put her down on the floor, she purrs as soon as she's picked up off the counter. It's really impossible to be upset with her ever - she will wrap you around her tiny paw finger.

Tina is incredibly affectionate and likes to nap with her people, watch TV on the couch, watch birds through the window, and is always happy to be part of the action in the house. She is really easy going and loves to be included, however she is also comfortable minding her own business for a bit too.

While Tina does not have a BFF yet, we do believe Tina needs a kitten of a similar age for company.

She has a lot of energy to burn and needs lots of play, and no one can help get out kitten energy like another kitten friend! She also tries to play with herself whenever she walks by a mirror, jumping around and batting at the glass like there is another kitten there.

Tina loves toys, especially crinkly balls and her scratch toy that has a ball on a wheel that goes around. She loves scratching on posts in general so she will definitely need a home that offers her loves of welcomed scratching locations like posts and cardboard scratchers.

While she loves scratching, she's actually extremely gentle and does not ever even accidentally seem to scratch people or use her claws, just when scratching something intentionally like a cardboard scratcher.

Tina would do best in a home with a kitten friend of a similar age, and somewhere that can offer her all the love and cuddles she desires and deserves. Whoever adopts this kitten is in for a real treat and some wonderful companionship!

Tina would like a home with a kitten friend of a similar age and lots of companionship to love her. This cat needs to be adopted with a cat in the program or have another cat at home.

Please bear in mind that it is against Abbey Cat policy to adopt a single kitten under the age of 6 months to a home without a kitten of similar age for company.
