Willie is a 5-month old orange domestic short hair who was rescued from a crowded northern shelter
He is currently being fostered in a 600 ft2 one-bedroom apartment alongside his brother Woody.
Willie is curious, playful, energetic and at times goofy.
He jumps into action at the sight of a toy wand or laser pointer and pounces on your feet on occasion.
He enjoys chin scratches and belly rubs, and purrs incredibly loudly when content and happy.
Willie is independent but loves to be showered with attention; if he sees you lying down on a couch, he will nestle himself beside you for a cuddle.
If you are busy with work and tasks at home, he tends to either take naps or play with his best friend Woody.
Willie does not mind being picked up or moved around, and is tolerant of the occasional loud noise coming from a vacuum cleaner, blender or coffee grinder.
Willie is welcoming of guests and confident around new people.
His appetite is average and he often only eats when hungry.
Still, he loves treats of any kind and is not picky about his food.
Willie can be left alone and does not appear to have separation issues.
Although nosey at times, he is respectful and never insists on making his way onto places where he doesn’t belong. a
Willie is highly adaptable; settling in and quickly getting used to his surroundings after an initial explorative sweep.
He will do well in any setting as long as it is cozy, somewhat spacious and relatively quiet, and as long as he is with his companion Woody.
Willie prefers a cozy, quiet and somewhat spacious home.
Willie MUST be adopted with his brother and best friend Woody.
Please bear in mind that it is against Abbey Cat policy to adopt a single kitten under the age of 6 months to a home without a kitten of similar age for company.
