Nova came to Abbey Cats with her 6 adorable kittens after raising them in a cage at a crowded shelter for over a month.

She immediately warmed up to home life where she has finished raising her kittens.

Her babies have all been adopted, and Nova is excited to find a furever home of her own. She is a lovely tempered girl and really just the best little cat! She is social, lovable, gentle, and has a wonderful personality.

Nova is a beautiful black cat with soft, sleek fur and bright green and yellow eyes.

She has shiny and healthy looking black fur and a slight floof to her tail which her foster parents think makes her look fancy.

Nova is a young cat, and she definitely loves her social and play time.

She loves receiving invites to come sit with people, and with a few kissing sounds with your mouth she will happily come to you and plop herself down beside you for some pets and purrs.

While she was raising her little ones, she would get in on all the play time action and really enjoyed playing the kittens by wrestling and pouncing on them in their cat tunnel (or sometimes hiding inside so she could be pounced on!).

Even solo, she loves a good cat tunnel to run through to catch a toy or to be a sneaky girl and ambush you from her stealthy hiding spot inside.

She is known to leap in the air after wand toys and play cat soccer games solo as a team-of-one, especially if foam balls are around!

Nova is a really gentle and confident cat.

She has not scratched furniture in her foster home (she is instead a huge fan of scratching posts), and when picked up or cuddled, she always has her claws tucked away, even when she wants to push away from you and get back to what she was doing.

Nova is a big fan of mealtime and will absolutely let you know if you're opening her tin of wet food too slowly or if she has noticed a kibble shortage in her dish.

Given Nova's social and playful nature, her fosters believe she would enjoy the company of another playful, respectful, similar-tempered cat.

She could also probably be happy as a solo cat as long as she's in a home that provides her with lots of playtime and human companionship.
