Parker

This handsome fellow is Parker - just  4 years young he is a 'Russian Blue' cross.
Parker was surrendered to Abbey Cats because he was being bullied by the other cat in their home

Parker is one of the most well behaved cats you will ever come across.
He was initially cautious - but quickly warmed up and blossomed into a very loving and special boy.

Parker is fairly inde - content to keep his own company as long as he can be nearby and keeping an eye on what you are doing.
He is curious and will even checks in on you from time to time but he is not at all pushy or overly needy.

Parker  loves being brushed and petted, thanking you by stretching his limbs, baking biscuits, turning over and purring loudly.

Parker is also one of those cats who truly enjoys his belly rubs!

He plays with a variety of toys on his own, or  interactively - swatting at and pouncing on toy wands or chasing after treats like he’s playing fetch… Well, half of fetch at least.

He is a quiet and laid back cat.
When not observing you and slow blinking in gratitude, he likes watching videos of squirrels and birds on TV.

He is not a picky eater but certainly prefers everything with chicken in it, eating just as much as he needs and never gorging.

Parker never jumps onto couches, beds or countertops.
But he does love being  off the floor and a tall cat tree in his home is a must.

If you are looking for an independent, quiet and well behaved cat who accepts affection when offered  but is otherwise happy chilling in his own space near you — then Parker is the cat for you.

With that being said, it is important to keep in mind that he may need time to get comfortable in a new place.

As time passes and Parker gets more comfortable, he will surprise you with other adorable personality traits.
He certainly has the potential for it!

Parker needs a relatively quiet home with both dark and cozy spaces and high places to hang out in.

A cat tree would make him very happy!
He should probably be the only cat/pet at home, since other animals have been very unkind to him in the past and he is understandably cautious of them and prefers human companionship.
A single human or a quiet couple of homebodies would make him so happy
