Petra was found outside with her 6 kittens after Their owners abandoned them. They were taken in by a kind neighbour before they contacted Abbey Cats. Petra is a beautiful calico cat who chirps and chats away. She has taken such good care of her babies and deserves to be taken care of herself! She has taken time to settle into her foster home and is slowly becoming more comfortable interacting with her foster parents. She now meows and nudges for pets and rubs up against her foster’s legs.
Petra would do best at a home with gentle adults who will be patient with her as she settles into being a house cat. She may have experienced unkindness while living outside and so does not appreciate sudden movements toward her, for this reason, we think it would be best for Petra to be the only pet in the house. She needs ample space and consistency while she understands that she is safe now. Her fosters are confident that she will blossom into a loving and wonderful addition to the right home.
