Rafiki came to us from a shelter up north who had to suspend their adoption program because of Covid-19. He had been suffering from an upper respiratory infection when he came to us and has just completed a course of antibiotics. For this reason, he had to go to a foster home where there were no other cats so he would not spread the infection.
He loves the company of other cats so he would be very happy to have a cat companion again, either from Abbey Cats or to a home where there is an existing young and friendly cat. Rafiki is indeed a very special boy who loves everybody be it animal or human. He likes nothing better than to sit on a lap when he has finished zooming around the house to show off his sheer zest for life.
Rafiki needs a home where he will get a great deal of attention from his human family and also from a feline friend or two. Rafiki needs to be adopted to a home where there is an existing cat who is friendly and playful.
He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
