Meet Rey! Her foster parent lovingly calls her "cirque du chat". Rey is quite the acrobat and gymnast. She is also a great explorer. She's an independent spirit. When she arrived at her new foster home Rey quickly surveyed the entire space. You might find her curled up in a drawer full of clothes or in an open bin in the closet. She's very graceful and agile and hasn't knocked anything over during her explorations.

Rey is also a quiet cat. Rey has had a difficult life thus far. She was a street cat as a kitten and has been abandoned in the past. She has also fully recovered from a past surgery on her uterus (and she's been spayed) and she's made a full recovery without any issues - we are very proud of her. If you came to Abbey Cats looking to *truly* transform a cat's've come to the right place with Rey.

Rey has been scared of other cats in the past but has somewhat warmed up to a new foster sister. Her foster sister has been an "assistant" with Abbey Cats in the past, helping more timid cats find their way, so to speak. It has gotten to the point where they coexist and Rey is comfortable with this so she has shown a lot of improvement in a short span of time.

Abbey Cats thinks that - as a kitten - Rey might have been by herself, without other cat or human companionship, so relationships are new to her and she's slowly navigating her way. So perhaps Rey would do well with an extremely chill and friendly cat - one who would give her space to be the independent spirit she is. With that being said, she would also love being the only cat - the queen of her castle.

Rey is a tuxedo beauty - black and white with very interesting markings. She's long but petite. She's graceful and has an elegance about her.

If you are open to an agile, graceful, explorative, tuxedo beauty... Rey is your girl!
