This handsome love bug is Rocky.

He is an extremely affectionate and loving cat, but the last few months have been sad and confusing

You see, Rocky lived with a senior human who has dementia, and needed to go into care.

Although gentle and friendly by nature, Rocky became lonely and mistrusting of the many strangers coming and going from the condo.

Why wouldn’t he be? They took his person away…

It took Rocky a little while to settle in to his foster space, but now he hides for a few moments when guests come over - but peeks curiously around the corner to look and then comes out to visit after a few minutes.

He likes belly rubs and used to sleep with his human.

According to the people who knew him in his previous home, he gets along with kids, dogs and other cats.

Rocky really likes having a cat tree to climb on and to scratch but since he is a big boy, he should have a large tree please.

And he is one smart cookie!

Rocky loves the treat puzzle in his foster home- pushing the pieces around with his adorable multicoloured nose?

Rocky is a friendly guy who had a close relationship with his previous person.

He would do well in a home with people who are home a lot, perhaps with another kitty friend to share a cat tree perch.
