Sophie was rescued from a shelter up north.
When Sophie first arrived, she was extremely timid and shy.
She hid under the bed for several days, barely even coming out for food and water.
After a week or so she was finally comfortable enough to come out of hiding.
Now she sits out in the open and enjoy sitting on pillows.
Surprisingly, sitting on windowsills generally aren't her thing.
If she's been alone for awhile, Sophie gets excited when you come home.
She will paw at you and go up on her hind legs (almost trying to climb you) so be sure to keep her claws trimmed.
Not to worry, she's a very quiet cat (no midnight meowing from this one) and doesn't chew on cords.
And best of all, if you would like a warm furry little body to snuggle up to you in bed each and every night, Sophie is the cat for you!
She is an extremely sweet cat who is quiet and well tempered.
She's currently being fostered in a home with 2 children (11 & 13 y/o).
Sophie would like a home with people to give her plenty of attention and affection.
She'll need a home with people with patience who will give her space when she's settling in so a home with older children might be best.
Younger children might become frightened when Sophie gets excited.
Additional cats in the home for company would be a bonus.
