Spell

Spell came to Abbey Cats with her three kittens from a shelter near Lake Simcoe. She is currently in a home with four women and has not interacted with children.

Spell was very brave when she got to her new home and while at first a little shy from her time at the shelter she quickly opened up.

Spell loves to greet her foster mom when she gets home and loves face rubs, purring up a storm when given love. She has the sweetest face and it can be so hard to say no when she looks at you with those big beautiful yellow eyes. While loving, she has moments when she wants to do her own thing or cuddle with her babies.

Spell absolutely adores sitting up high in the cat tree and can stare out the window for hours. When she's not looking out the window, Spell loves to sit near her foster mom and especially loves to steal her spot when she leaves. In the mornings she will always be curled up on the bed. She is a sweet, calm-tempered girl who's very smart and will let you know if she wants to get out of the room or into a cabinet. She likes to play with wand toys but is generally a more relaxed cat. However, once given catnip she can become a real live wire, getting super playful and rambunctious!

Spell should be in a relatively quiet home with a calm environment. She loves to explore and be in high places, so having closets or high cat shelves would be great.
Having other cats around the same age as she may allow her to get more playtime with other cats as currently, she can only tussle with her kittens (which don't put up a good enough fight).

This cat needs to be adopted along with another cat in the program or have another cat at home.
