Stayner

Stayner does well in a multi-animal household and had no trouble settling in. Even barking dogs don’t phase her. She could be an only cat if there were children or more adults to play with her but would do equally well with a cat or kitten friend.
Stayner is a very gentle cat who shares her foster home with her two kittens, a large and a smaller dog, and two resident cats.

She goes by the motto “Live and Let Live” and is kind to everyone. She does have one vice, however - she LOVES food. She will get into everyone else’s food if you aren’t vigilant. She can be a thief - stealing defrosted chicken from the kitchen counter, and she opened up a container of dog kibble… Not easy without thumbs!

Stayner is very responsive when she is called and playful with all sorts of toys. Like her kittens, she enjoys perching on a window sill or cat tree to watch the outside world. She is curious about the outside so it is important to watch the doors and windows so she doesn’t escape. She loves pets on her terms - especially head, neck and cheek rubs – but will sometimes chill with you on the couch, purring and curled up against you.
