Valentine came to Abbey Cats as a young momma who was found outdoors with her 6 beautiful female kittens - a whole gang of ladies! She has beautiful grey tabby markings with spots on her belly and stripey legs, and lovely bright eyes.
While we don't know her whole life's story, it does not seem like little Valentine had a very easy go of it before finding safety indoors. She looks to have once had a little nip to her ear, had been sprayed by a skunk, and had a big group of kitties to care for all by herself.
In foster care, Valentine has been doing amazing. She raised all her kittens to be wonderful young ladies, and they've all been adopted into great forever homes. She really enjoys cozy surfaces like cat hammocks and pillows, knows that a person walking into the kitchen means snacks could be in the cards for her, and has recently started to purr up a storm when she gets head scratches.
Valentine doesn't love to be picked up, however she is starting to open up to some lap cuddles when things around her are quiet. She LOVES when she is laying down to have her human companions come and scratch her - she rolls around with her belly out purring, tossing and turning so you can get all the good spots. Her foster mom thinks with time, she will keep getting even more sweet and affectionate - she's made immense and consistent progress since coming into her foster home. She just needs patience and love.

Valentine tends to nap on lower surfaces like a couch or coffee table, and rarely jumps up to any higher perch (unless it's where you are hiding the snacks!). She once snuck into a loaf of bread that was not for her after locating it up high through the night, and nibbled all the seeds off it... and her foster parents have since learned to keep the tasty stuff tucked away. She is great about scratching her scratching post and not furniture.
Valentine would do well in a home that offers a quiet space for her to open up. She also seems to miss having hThis cat needs to be adopted with a cat in the program or have another cat at homeer kittens to play with, and we think she would likely do best with a playful but respectful cat friend. When her final two kittens were around, she had begun being a kitten again herself, chasing them around the room, playing in cardboard boxes and with toys, and since they left she seems to be missing kitty companionship.

Valentine would like to find a quiet home where there is lots of love to go around. She would likely do best with a playful and respectful cat friend.
