Verona came from a shelter up north. She is a gorgeous 4-year-old Turkish Van Cross. She has a beautiful white body, a grey tail and “hat” and big green eyes. This friendly girl doesn’t seem to be a lap cat but loves company.

Verona will follow you around from room to room and lay beside you on the couch or bed. She loves to be petted and will rub her cheek against you, purring loudly. She is very talkative, communicating with quiet meows and chirps. And she even seems to know her name and will come when you call her.

Verona is very calm and is not too interested in toys, although she will occasionally play with a bit of string or paper ball. She watches her foster siblings running around but is a bit shy to join in.

Verona will be very respectful of your home. She uses her scratching post and does not jump on tables or countertops. She will make a wonderful companion in any type of home.

Verona is currently in a home with 2 adults and 2 teenagers and is friendly with everyone. She is good-natured with visitors, including younger children. She was introduced slowly to the resident cats and is comfortable with them.

Verona would be ok with other friendly cats or as a lone cat.
