Hi there, I’m Stratford
I have become much more brave and confident since I first arrived at my foster home.
I started out a little worried about going outside of my room, but now I happily wander and explore the whole house!
I love climbing up cat trees and sniffing out every corner of my new territory; I especially love climbing in my foster mom’s closet and I sometimes have naps in her laundry basket (I don’t mind if it’s clean or dirty – it’s just so cozy).
My foster parents say they have never met such an affectionate cat!
I am always up for cuddles and will even help my foster humans out by pushing my face directly into their hands…sometimes they need a reminder that I am much more important and adorable than whatever cats they are looking at on their phones.
I like to help my humans with their work and will nap beside them while they type away, but I believe in the importance of work-life balance and am happy to climb onto their keyboard when it’s time for them to take a break.
I’ve never met a toy that I don’t like!
I am particularly fond of wand toys and will chase them for so long that I start panting like a dog!
I like to play with toys with my foster parents’ other cats but I sometimes need to take a break from them.
I am still getting to know them so we just like to spend time together in short bursts.
Stratford would be fine in a home with quiet older children or with adults only.
Ideally, he should be adopted with his friend Niagara.
