Mr Chubs was surrendered to Abbey Cats when his loving family could no longer care for him.
He’s an easy-going guy with a gentle temperament, always curious about human or feline visitors to his foster home, arriving at the door to greet them.
He’s friendly with the other resident cats.
He appreciates special attention and quickly established a routine of asking for a good brushing as soon as his foster Mum pushes away her plate after finishing dinner!
(His cue is a polite tail-tap against her leg, or a paw-pat on her knee, if that fails.)
Mr Chubs would do well as part of a family that will give him the loving attention that he enjoys.
He’s intelligent and usually seems to understand what is expected of him and does his best to please — although he’s still a cat, so he has his moments of rebellion!
He was used to being an “only” cat before his surrender but he has proved himself to be adaptable to other cats in the home and he’s gentle enough to be a good companion to older children.
He needs some stimulation through playtime — this will help him to lose some of his extra grams.
