Opal came to Abbey Cats from a shelter up north.
She is from a litter of stray kittens whose mother sadly abandoned them as newborns, and they were lovingly bottle fed by a kind volunteer.
Unfortunately, despite best efforts, she was the only one of the litter to make it – she is a strong girl despite being a small girl!
She was paired up with another litter of kittens where she found her best buddy Cole (the biggest of his litter) and they adore each other!
Opal is a gorgeous little kitten with dilute calico fur and sparkly eyes.
She is a petite girl but has a great appetite. She also has excellent litter box manners.
Opal is a confident and social kitten.
When she isn’t snuggled up with Cole or playing with him, Opal likes to be a lap kitten.
Whenever her foster mom sits down beside her, she crawls into her lap purring. Quite the little cuddle bug!
Opal and Cole are bonded and need to be adopted together.
They’d do best in a home that has lots of time to spend loving them and playing with them as they are both very social and love human interaction!
