Callais is a sweetheart who loves pets and cuddles; she will happily curl up in your arms or on your lap and hang out near you while you go about your day.
A petite and beautiful girl, estimated less than a year old, Callais has come a long way since she was found abandoned on a back road with her 8-week old kitten in late August.
She was undernourished and weak but still a good mamma to her kitten and to a second foster kitten she adopted.
She was never hostile towards humans but was initially quite reserved.
It seemed like she had had a tough time.
Once her babies were adopted and Callais recovered her strength, her true personality emerged; she is affectionate, curious and playful.
She would do best in a chill, low stress home where she can receive the love and attention she deserves.
Callais needs a lot of interaction – she will get vocal when bored – and enjoys playtime with wand toys.
She would probably appreciate another kitty to play with.
