Callais and her kitten River were abandoned on a back road in northern Ontario.
Callais and River were placed in a foster home together with Raven, an orphan kitten who Callais adopted readily
Callais is a beautiful girl
Sweet and friendly, this young cat is a good mama, but at less than a year old- she is barely out of kittenhood herself.
She appreciates affection and gentle pets and is gaining confidence and exploring her new environment.
She enjoys hanging out on windowsills and occasionally shows interest in playing with wand-type toys or balls
Callais is a gentle, laid-back cat who tolerates other cats, dogs, and older children.
She will likely be fine with or without other pets but would certainly prefer a quiet, low stress home environment.
